As a photojournalist and fine art photographer, Judah S. Harris's imagery is about people, places, and life's moments. But about two decades ago, he started taking smaller prints of a number of his images and etching into them by scraping away at the emulsion to produce a more manipulated image with an interesting look.
In this video, Judah speaks about etched photographs and show some examples of his art using this technique. One etched photo, Car Lot, Etched #4 (c.2002), is included in the current exhibit, "In Motion" (May-July 2018), at the Harmony Cultural Center gallery in Jerusalem, where he recorded the video.
